Before you start

The NHS Essex Community Health Partnership Fund has been established by NHS Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) in partnership with Essex Community Foundation (ECF). The programme is testing new community-led approaches to improving preventative health outcomes and increasing vaccination uptake among communities where coverage remains lower than desired.

The application process for this programme is split into two stages. This application form is for the first stage of the programme.

The deadline to apply is Wednesday 25 November 2026, 5pm.

If successful you will be invited through to the second stage and asked to provide further detail on your project.

Working together on learning and evaluation

This programme is a proof-of-concept initiative, so what we learn together, matters just as much as what gets delivered. We'd love for your organisation to be part of that learning journey, sharing what's working, what's not, and what surprises you along the way. This will help shape how the ICB funds VCSE organisations in the future, so your voice genuinely counts.

To make this easy and worthwhile rather than an extra burden, you'll be supported throughout by an external evaluation consultant, who will help you think through what success looks like for your organisation, find simple ways to hear from the people you support, and support you with reflection and reporting along the way.
